27th Annual Kyle Wolfe Memorial Trapshoot

About the Event

Now in its 27th year, the Kyle Wolfe Memorial Trapshoot honors the legacy of a dedicated member of the Owatonna Gun Club. Kyle was a leader, mentor, and friend whose presence shaped the club for over three decades. This event is held in his memory.

From I-35, take Exit 32 (Hope), go west to the stop sign, then south for 1 1/3 miles. The club is on the left.

Registration & Details

• ATA-registered trapshoot governed by ATA rules
• Scores recorded with the Amateur Trapshooting Association
• Open to ATA and AIM youth shooters

AA: 97% and over
A: 94% – 96.99%
B: 91% – 93.99%
C: 88% – 90.99%
D: Under 88%

Doubles
AA: 93% and over
A: 89% – 92.99%
B: 85% – 88.99%
C: 78% – 84.99%
D: Under 78%

General Information

• Events start as listed; practice traps open one hour prior
• Shooters must verify scores, options, and classifications
• Ties for Events 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 9 carry over
• Other ties resolved by card draw (no shoot-offs)
• Trap loads available; reloads must meet ATA rules
• No refunds for options after event begins
• Full refunds issued for canceled events
• Management may modify the program as needed

Additional Information

• Onsite camping with limited electrical hookups
• Electricity may not be available during shooting hours
• No gray water dumping available
• Free Saturday supper for all shooters
• Credit cards accepted for targets and fees
